The five visitor centers in Redwood National and State Parks—Hiouchi Visitor Center, Jedediah Smith Visitor Center, Crescent City Information Center, Prairie Creek Visitor Center, and Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center—are the perfect locations to start exploring these incredible parks. Each center provides essential orientation, trip-planning advice, park information, and retail opportunities to enhance your visit. Whether you're looking for maps, hiking tips, or just the best spot for viewing the towering redwoods, the staff at these centers are ready to help.
The Redwood Parks Conservancy, the parks’ official nonprofit partner, operates the park stores located at each center. These stores offer a wide selection of mementos, books, maps, and gifts, with proceeds supporting the conservation and care of parks and public lands along California's northern coast.
