Since the early 1970s, Wolf Creek Outdoor School has been providing curriculum-based environmental education programs for local school and out of the area school groupsand education related rental groups. The Wolf Creek Outdoor School is located in the southern district (near Orick, CA) of Redwood National and State Parks and is one of two outdoor schools within the park.

Howland Hill Outdoor School is located in the northern district of the park (near Crescent City, CA) and also provides curriculum-based environmental education programs for students
