What is Redwood Parks Conservancy?

Redwood Parks Conservancy (RPC) is a private, not-for-profit cooperating association established to aid and support the interpretive programs within Redwood National and State Parks, and other public lands along California's North Coast. RPC is approved to operate by the National Park Service and California State Parks.

Any item that is sold by Redwood Parks Conservancy at Redwood National and State Park is vetted by RPC and national park staff to be a quailty product, and relevent to the educational and interpretive themes of the parks. RPC products are popular with many park staff, and of course loved by visitors from around the country, and the world.

Five Park Stores - And More

Redwood Parks Conservancy operates five park stores inside Redwood National and State Parks' five visitor centers. RPC also operates a store at Sue-meg State Park and at the Gasquet Ranger Station in the Smith River National Recreation Area.

Why RPC Is Important To Park Visitors?

All proceeds from RPC's park stores and online store are returned to the parks. This financial support directly supports Redwood National and State Parks visitor sevices and interpretive program. For example, each year RPC pays for publications ike 60,000 visitor guides and 10,000 junior ranger booklets and badges that are provided FREE to the public.

Redwood Parks Conservancy also solicits individual donations and grant funds in support of projects inside Redwood National and State Parks. They also host events, candlelit walks, annual fun-runs and other fundraisers throughout the year.
