Am I able to backcountry camp?

Yes, backcountry camping is allowed within the park. Please read up on all of the regulations and safety information on the Backcountry Camping page if you plan on backcountry camping during your residency.

Do Artists-in-Residence do tent or RV camping?

Both options are available! Artists can stay in an RV at Brandy Creek RV Campground or tent camp at Peltier Bridge Primitive Campground.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times. You are required to pick up after your pet, and pet waste should be disposed of in trash receptacles.

Can someone else camp with me?

Is there a deadline for completing the presentation? Does the location matter?

How flexible are the dates that I choose?

Whiskeytown will make every effort to work with selected artists to accommodate their ideal residency dates.

What kind of accommodations for disabilities are available?

Whiskeytown is dedicated to accessibility. For detailed information on the park's accessible features, visit the park's accessibility webpage.

If I produce more than one work, how is the work shared?
