    Finch Lake is located in the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park. This secluded lake is about 4.5 miles from the trail head and sits at 9,912 feet in altitude. This recording was taken from about 10 yards to the east of Finch Lake began at 7:30 AM. The sky was clear and there were several feet of snow on the ground.

    Hollowell Park is a small meadow off of Bear Lake Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. It sits at 8,300 feet in elevation and was used to house the CCC in the 1930's. This recording began at 1:04 PM and it includes the ambient sounds of the area as well as a thunderstorm.

This recording began at 1:30 PM and features the ambient sounds of the campsite as well as the sounds of a thunderstorm that produced small hail and large rain drops that fell on the tent and recording equipment.
