Park Rangers are available to assist park visitors at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center, the Alpine Visitor Center, the Kawuneeche Visitor Center, and the Wilderness Office. Rocky Mountain Conservancy Nature Stores are open at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center, the Fall River Visitor Center, and Kawuneeche Visitor Center. Beaver Meadows Visitor CenterBeaver Meadows Visitor Center is open year-round. This visitor center is located on the east side of RMNP near the town of Estes Park, along U.S. Highway 36 approximately 1 mile east of the Beaver Meadows Entrance to RMNP. Inside the visitor center, meet with park staff, enjoy the park's movie, and visit the Rocky Mountain Conservancy Nature Store.  NPS Photo / Kim Grossman Alpine Visitor CenterAlpine Visitor Center is a seasonal visitor center open only during the summer. This facility is closed for the 2024/2025 winter season. Alpine Visitor Center is located inside Rocky Mountain National Park at the top of Fall River Pass. It is accessed primarily via Trail Ridge Road. When traveling from the east side of RMNP, Alpine Visitor Center is located approximately 22 miles from Beaver Meadows Entrance. When traveling from the west, it is located 20 miles from Grand Lake Entrance. Temporary road and building closures are possible at any time based on weather. For updates call 970-586-1222.

This parking area and viewpoint are open year-round and unstaffed during the fall/winter seasons. The Sheep Lakes Information Station is closed. In Horseshoe Park on US Hwy 34 west of Estes Park.
