Fort MoultrieFort Moultrie and grounds are a designated US Fee Area. Visitors are required to purchase an entrance pass at the Fort Moultrie Visitor Center upon entering the site. The park is no longer accepting cash for entrance fees. Credit, debit, and contactless payments are the only methods of payment currently accepted. Digital site passes can be purchased online.

Fort Moultrie 7-Day and Site Annual Passes are available at Recreation.gov.
Annual and Lifetime PassesInteragency Annual and Lifetime Passes and the Fort Moultrie Annual Pass are available at the Fort Moultrie Visitor Center from 9:00am – 4:00pm Wednesday through Sunday. They are accepted at Fort Moultrie and cover entrance fees for the passholder and up to three additional adults. Visit America the Beautiful Interagency Passes.
Forms of PaymentAcceptable forms of payment for entrance fees and passes are limited to credit and debit cards, and contactless payments.
2022 Fee Free DaysFee Free Days apply only to the Fort Moultrie site. Rates for the concessioner-operated ferry to Fort Sumter are still charged.
Group Reservations and Academic Fee WaiversAll organized groups visiting Fort Moultrie require reservations. For reservations call (843) 883-3123 x248. Requests for reservations by e-mail are not accepted.
National Park Service regulations allow school groups and other bona fide academic institutions to obtain a waiver for park entrance fees, provided that the visit is for educational or scientific purposes, and the resource or facilities the group proposes to use support those purposes.
