National Park Week: April 2025National Park Week is an annual presidentially proclaimed celebration to encourage people to discover places, programs, experiences, and stories of the NPS. The first National Park Week occurred in 1991 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NPS. The next National Park Week was held in 1994 and it has been an annual event ever since.

National Public Lands Day: September 2025National Public Lands Day is organized annually and led by the National Environmental Education Foundation, in partnership with the National Park Service and other federal agencies. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers roll up their sleeves to help restore and preserve public lands of all types and sizes—from iconic national parks and rivers to local urban green spaces and everything in between. National Public Lands Day is special because it provides all lovers of the environment—old and new—an opportunity to show our appreciation for these unique places. World War II Living History Event: November 2025The park hosts a World War II living history event. Living historians in period accurate clothing present information about Fort Moultrie during World War II.Please check back for park specific details in 2025. |
