Log in to RPRS as an Investigator

If you are an investigator, everything you need to do with applications, permits, and reports is managed through your RPRS account. Logging in to your account only takes one or two clicks. There are different procedures for two groups of users.

Start by going to RPRS

Dept. of the Interior employees (e.g. USGS researchers)

• To use RPRS as an investigator, you must be on the DOI network or VPN and use your PIV card. If you are, you will automatically be taken to your account, where you can access your Investigator Dashboard.

NPS

All other users (e.g. university scientists)

• On the RPRS home screen, click the “Log In” link. You will be taken to a mandatory Partner Access page with a pop-up message about privacy. Click the OK button to close the message.
• Then on the Partner Access page, click the “Connect with Login.gov” button as shown in the image on the right.
• As when you established your account, you will be directed to login.gov to certify your identity. Once you do, you will be taken to your account, where you can access your Investigator Dashboard.
