Biscayne Expedition - A resource based camping program that instills an understanding and appreciation for the natural world. Students will set up their own tents on Elliott Key, help make meals, do camp chores, and be without their phones for entire days! Students are immersed in an outdoor learning environment that cannot be duplicated in the indoor classroom. Park staff lead the majority of the programs and activities such as plankton lab, seining, fishing, paddling, bird watching, astronomy, and botony. Teachers also have a few hours during the first evening and the second morning to conduct their own activities, or make use of the provided fishing gear and paddle craft.
