Things To Know Before You Come

The park provides a beautiful setting that supports opportunities for recreation and learning close to a large metropolitan area. Recreational opportunities include; fishing, diving, snorkeling, boating, paddling, hiking, camping, wildlife watching and cultural exploration. Visitors find inspiration in the tranquility, solitude, scenic vistas, underwater environment, sounds of nature and more. Things to consider before you arrive include:

• Safety
• Current conditions
• Getting around
• Places to go

Please note that there is no restaurant at Biscayne National Park. The closest restaurants are located In Homestead, approximately 7 miles away. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the greenspace adjacent to the Dante Fascell Visitor Center.
