Kids may enjoy snorkeling, poking along the rocky shoreline near the visitor center and canoeing through a mangrove forest. The Dante Fascell Visitor Center has great exhibits and a touch table to help kids learn about the park's watery world. Youth are encouraged to participate in our Junior Ranger Program. They can begin by picking up a booklet at the visitor center. After completing the required pages, a ranger will review their work and award them their Junior Ranger badge. Special events like family fishing and paddling clinics are offered throughout the year. See the park calendar for events, activities and programs.
