NPS Biscayne National Park is a great place to come on a field trip or to explore on your own, but not everyone can get to the park. The next-best thing? How about a virtual visit? Our "Biscayne Discovery" distance learning program is a great introduction to the park and to the marine science taking place in the park. Spring 2025 Discovery Programs Offered: Tuesdays from April 1st through May 27th Grades: Best suited for grades 3rd - 8th Audience: Please coordinate with other teachers at your school across your grade level - there is no limit for how many classes can join a call Duration: 45-60 minute presentation & optional activity Platform: Please note all presentations will be held over Microsoft Teams unless the teacher would like to share a different link with Rangers (i.e. Zoom or Google) Presentation Options: All presentations will give a brief introduction to Biscayne National Park and the four main ecosystems found in our park. Rangers will then dive into one of the below topics chosen by the teacher. Each presentation will include an optional activity that teachers can utilize in the classroom during or after the presentation.
