Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park offers a handful of virtual field trips for students. Whether you live a great distance away, or a virtual visit just fits better with your schedule, our Rangers are always happy to accomodate!

What You Need to Know
Virtual programs are routinely available Monday - Thursday throughout the year.
Before selecting a date for your virtual visit, please visit our Education Calendar to see if the date and time you would prefer is available. Note: Our park is in the Eastern Time Zone.
When ready, please fill out our Virtual Field Trip Form. When complete, save the form and email it to us at kemo_education@nps.gov.
We politely ask that if you decide to make changes to your confirmed virtual field trip, please do so at least one week before your scheduled visit. Thank you for helping us deliver quality programming!

In this virtual program, students will compare and contrast the Union and Confederate soldiers of the Civil War as well learn about what the things that we carry tell others about us, both in the present and future.

In this virtual program, students will be able to learn about the life of Carrie Berry, a 10 year old girl who lived during the Union siege and occupation of Atlanta, GA in 1864. Through her diary as a primary source and interaction with a park ranger, students will have opportunities to compare and contrast their own experiences with Carries.

In this virtual program, students will learn about the geography of Kennesaw Mountain and why it as been important for generations, especially during the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. Students will also have an opportunity to make their own maps and discuss what they think is important about any given place.
