There are many different animals that call this pristine volcano home.

Mammals: such as Mule Deer, Pronghorn, Elk, and Black Bear.

Insects: including Convergent Lady Beetle, False Cinch Bug, Tent Caterpillars, and Alberta Arctic Butterfly.

Birds: numerous birds from hawks to hummingbirds live or migrate through the park.

Reptiles and Amphibians: There are several different species of reptiles, and more amphibians than you would expect to find in an arid environment.
