In the summer of 1774, the people of Boston had some new neighbors to meet. In the wake of the Boston Tea Party, the British Parliament decided to crack down on Boston. They closed Boston harbor and began moving thousands of British soldiers into the town. Historian and author, Don Hagist, will discuss who these soldiers were: their ages, nationalities and backgrounds and shed light on the lives of the men of the King’s army in Boston.
