Alibates Flint Quarries Visitor Center will close March 25th to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)

Beginning, Saturday, February 18, 2017, Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument will host a series of Plains Indian Village Cultural Weekends, “Alibates Fingerprints”, the third weekend of each month through September 17.

Fritch, Texas - Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument is hosting a Star Party Saturday October 22nd beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Alibates Visitor Center. Come out and join Park Rangers and volunteers to view the cosmos.

A single prescribed burn is planned totaling approximately 1,200 acres. Prescribed burning will occur at the south end of the park in the Rosita off-road area.

Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument will host FlintFest 2015 on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Lake Meredith National Recreation Area will again be hosting the annual Small Fry Fishing Tournament, to be held this Saturday, September 26, at the Stilling Basin at Spring Canyon.
