Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument Visitor Center is open. We are open seven days a week from 9 AM- 4 PM. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Flint Quarries are only accessable on guided tours.

Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument has a modern Visitor Center with interactive exhibits, bookstore, and a theater, showing our award-winning 11-minute film. Alibates Heritage Garden and Butterfly Garden are also located next to the visitor center.

You may tour the Alibates Interpretive Garden or take a self-guided hike on the Mesquite Trail, which winds around a small mesa adjacent to the garden.
