Grant funds are available through the US Treasury's payment system called the "Automated Standard Application for Payments" (ASAP).
Enroll in ASAP
Once grantees receive their Grant Agreement containing their Federal Award Identification Number (FAIN) they must register with ASAP in order to access their grant funds. The ASAP enrollment process requires several steps so please read the ASAP enrollment instructions for grantees. Before enrolling in the system, grantees must ensure adherance to all pre-enrollment requirements, including registration in System for Award Management (SAM) SAM.gov then the completion and submission of the NPS ASAP enrolmment form. The NPS ASAP.gov Participation Request form should be sent to to ASAP_Enrollment@nps.gov.
Access Funds
ASAP will notify grantees when their enrollment is complete and provide instructions on accessing grant funds.

Acceptance of Funds
A Grantee's acceptance of an award is defined as the start of work, drawing down of funds, or accepting the award via electronic means.
