Travel the trail by reading exhibits in towns across Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. The eastern edge of the trail began in Franklin, Missouri. The route played a major role in bringing people, goods, and ideas to and from Santa Fe for 60 years.
