Eleven historic buildings containing 30 historically furnished rooms are open to the public. The infantry barracks has exhibits about the site's history, the dragoon barracks (Dragoon Barracks) has exhibits that tell about the soldiers stationed here in the 1840s, exhibits in the first Officer's Quarters (Officers' Quarters No. 1) depicts the life of an officer and how much nicer their living conditions were compared to enlisted solders, and exhibits in the second Officer's Quarters (also known as the Wilson-Goodlander house) (Officers' Quarters No. 2) provide information about the site's construction. A 23 minute audio-visual program is available in the theater in the infantry barracks. |
