Eating & Sleeping

Fort Laramie does not have onsite lodging, camping or restaurant facilities, however, there are options for both available in the nearby communities. Please visit the Goshen County and Platte County Chamber of commerce web sites for more information.

 

Picnic Area

Fort Laramie National Historic Site does have a large, shady picnic area located along the banks of the Laramie River. The picnic area is located next to the parking lot. The picnic area is on a first-come, first-served basis. Space, however, is usually not a concern.
