![]() NPS Living History Programs: From late May to early September there will be park staff dressed in 1800s living history attire throughout the park. Park staff will be giving informal and formal programs daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm. Please check with the Visitor Center as living historians will at different locations within the park. Black Powder Programs: From late May to early September on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 12:30pm there will be a black powder program. These programs will showcase the firearms and cannons that were in use when Fort Laramie was in operation. Junior Ranger Program: Ask at the Visitor Center to participate in Fort Laramie’s Junior Ranger Program! Suitable for any age, the junior ranger book will help visitors learn about the history of the fort through fun activities. The book is created in cooperation with Guernsey State Park. |
