The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an agricultural lease on NPS lands within the Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve. This lease includes 46.5 acres of cropland, which will continue a long history of farming on Whidbey Island and sustain the rural agricultural values of the Reserve.

Proposals must meet the terms described in the RFP and be received no later than 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) February 2, 2021. Proposals may be submitted by mail to National Park Service Attn: Kristen Jontos, Commercial Services Specialist, Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, 612 East Reserve Street Vancouver, Washington 98661, or by email to Kristen_Jontos@nps.gov.

Proposals must be received by the deadline in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a lease.

The NPS will not hold a site visit but offerors are encouraged to visit and view the site, which is readily accessible via the Pratt Loop Trail that encircles the field to be leased. Information on the site location can be found in the RFP.

The RFP is available on the park website, https://www.nps.gov/subjects/leasing/request-for-proposal.htm and on the SAM.gov website at https://beta.SAM.gov/. There is no cost to download the documents from either website. If you choose to retrieve a copy of the RFP please notify Kristen Jontos via email at Kristen_Jontos@nps.gov so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence.

Any questions regarding the lease opportunity within Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve must be received in writing no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on November 23, 2020 to Kristen Jontos, Commercial Services Specialist, National Park Service, Interior Regions 8, 9, 10 & 12 by email..
