No entrance pass required

An entrance pass is not required to access Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve is for the most part, fee-free. However, within the boundaries of the Reserve, there are three Washington State parks. Washington State Parks requires a daily ($10.00) or annual ($30.00) Discover Pass. Passes may be obtained on-line, or at Fort Casey State Park Administrative Office.

2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve is a partnership between the National Park Service, Washington State Parks, Island County and the Town of Coupeville to preserve a working rural community. Thereare no National Park Service fees to visit the Reserve.

National Reserves are areas containing nationall significant resources in which Federal, State, and /or local agencies along with the private sector, work together to manage, protect and interpret the valued resources.

More than 85% of the 17,500 acres within the Reserve is privately owend. Visitors to the Reserve may hike designated trails, stroll through the charming town of Coupeville, or picnic on one of the several public beaches. Please respect private property - even the farm fields are privately owned or managed.

An Ebey's Visitor Guide, Hiking Trails Map and other maps are available at the Pratt Cottage Visitor Center, the Island County Museum and at the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce in downtown Coupeville.

Lodging options within the Reserve range from inns, hotels and B&Bs, in addition to camping at Fort Casey State Park or Fort Ebey State Park (reservations are necessary) or at Island County's Rhododendron Park. There is no camping at Ebey's Landing State Park or along the roadway.
