Getting To and From Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve
Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve is located on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound and is easily accessible from the mainland by vehicle via Washington State Route 20 or aboard the Washington State Ferries from Mukilteo or Port Townsend.
By Automobile or Motorcycle
Motorists can access Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve from multiple routes:

Deception Pass Bridge (North):
Drive over Deception Pass Bridge for a scenic entry to the Reserve. Take I-5 to Burlington, head west onto SR-20 toward Anacortes, and follow the signs for SR-20. Cross Deception Pass Bridge, continue through Oak Harbor, and proceed to Coupeville.

Mukilteo/Clinton Ferry (South):
Board the Mukilteo ferry to Clinton and drive north on SR-525, which transitions to SR-20. Follow the route approximately 28 miles to Coupeville.

Port Townsend/Coupeville Ferry (West):
From the Olympic Peninsula, take the ferry from Port Townsend to Coupeville. Once on Whidbey Island, proceed north on SR-20 for about 8 miles to Coupeville and the Reserve.
Washington State Ferries

From Seattle via Mukilteo/Clinton Ferry
Take I-5 north and exit at 182 to SR-525, leading to the Mukilteo ferry terminal. The ferry crossing to Clinton on Whidbey Island takes about 20 minutes and departs every half hour. Once on Whidbey Island, proceed north on SR-525 (which transitions to SR-20) for approximately 28 miles to Coupeville and the Reserve. Please note that delays are common during the summer. From the Olympic Peninsula via Port Townsend/Coupeville Ferry
Take the ferry from Port Townsend to Keystone on Whidbey Island. The crossing takes approximately 45 minutes. Once on Whidbey Island, drive north on SR-20 for about 8 miles to Coupeville and the Reserve. It is recommended to reserve a spot on the Port Townsend ferry by calling 1-888-808-7977 or checking the schedule for Washington State Ferries online.
Public Transportation
Island Transit provides free bus service across Whidbey Island, running routes from the town of Clinton to Deception Pass State Park. This service offers a convenient and cost-effective way to explore the island. For schedules, visit Island Transit's website or call 360-678-7771.
Airport Shuttle
