The African Burial Ground bookstore is a great place to expand your knowledge of our site and its history. Our bookstore is managed by America's National Parks a nonprofit organization that supports the work of the African Burial Ground National Monument and numerous other National Park Service sites. In our bookstore, you can find children's books, arts and crafts, history, fiction, cultural items, music, artwork, and many other items that will help you to learn about or remember your visit to the African Burial Ground National Monument. We have hosted book readings and signings in our bookstore in the past for authors such as Carla Peterson (Black Gotham), Lorenzo Pace (Jalani and the Lock), and Zetta Elliott (Ship of Souls). Our bookstore is open from 10 am- 4 pm from Tuesday-Saturday and accepts cash and credit card. |
