Make the most of your visit to the African Burial Ground National Monument! The Indoor Visitor Center/Museum and the Outdoor Memorial are open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reserve your ranger‑led tour today using recreation.gov.

The stories of the African Burial Ground teach us how free and enslaved Africans contributed to the physical and spiritual development of Lower Manhattan during the 1600s and 1700s.
