Middle School: Ecosystem Comparison

Students will compare the biotic and abiotic factors of a forest and a dune ecosystem, enabling them to discover why the dunes are a challenging, yet unique ecosystem. Students will also learn that animals and plants have developed adaptations that help them live or travel through the dunes.
Expedition Yellowstone: Field School

This 4-5 day residential curriculum-based program is offered for teachers and their 4-8th grade classes. Students learn about the natural and cultural history of Yellowstone, investigate current issues affecting the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and promote stewardship and preservation in the park and in home communities.
