People during the Victorian Era (1837-1901) loved ghost stories and monster stories. Some of the most famous ghost and monster stories were written during the Victorian Era, including Dracula, Frankenstein, and the poems of Edgar Allen Poe. Students will explore some of these classic pieces of literature and learn about why these types of stories and literature captured the minds and hearts of Victorian Era citizens.
