Essential Question

How can students use comics to re-create the battles of the Southern Campaign fought in SC and reinforce their understanding of these revolutionary battles?

Objective

As a result of this lesson plan, students will be able to think creatively and design a story that reveals their knowledge of the battles of the revolutionary war fought in SC.

Background

The students should have an understanding of the key players, places, and battles that took place in SC.

Preparation

Teacher will need to demonstrate the creation of a comic from Storyboard. Templates will be provided for those that would rather create manually.

Materials will be provided for those that do not create electronically
