Transportation projects in the National Park Service (NPS) are implemented via a Program of Projects.
The Program of Projects is a multi-year plan for road, bridge, and multimodal projects in the NPS. It shows the anticipated schedule for obligating Federal Lands Transportation Program funds to NPS projects over a five year timeframe. Many of these projects, if regionally significant, are included in a Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) that the Federal Highway Administration approves and submits to the states to be included in their State Transportation Improvement Plans (STIP).
The current year of projects is included in the NPS Budget Justifications (Greenbook).
