WELLFLEET, Mass.– The next meeting of Cape Cod National Seashore's Federal Advisory Commission has been scheduled for Monday, April 7, 2025, at 1 pm. The meeting will take place at the Salt Pond Visitor Center classroom and is open to the public. Visitors may attend the meeting in-person or register in advance to attend remotely via Zoom: https://doitalent.zoomgov.com/meeting/register/wm7znPgWTLqp-B7ZosU1hwThe purpose of the Commission is to consult with the Secretary of the Interior, or the Secretary's designee, with respect to matters relating to the development of the Cape Cod National Seashore, including matters of acquisition by condemnation and zoning regulations.
As published in the federal register on December 16, 2024, the agenda for the meeting will include the adoption of agenda, approval of meeting minutes, superintendent's report, member’s comments, meeting primary topic (see below) and public comment period.
The focus of this meeting is: Protecting the Seashore District Character.
Salt Pond Visitor Center is located off Route 6 in Eastham, 50 Nauset Road, Eastham, MA 02642.
