Ranger-led Day Hikes

South Rim: Ranger led day hikes and walks have taken place along the Canyon Rim Trail year round. During the summer months an additional 3-mile round trip day hike into the canyon may be offered. North Rim: Ranger led nature walks take place during the season, between May 15, and October 15. Check in the Park Ranger Program webpage for schedules. (available at https://www.nps.gov/grca/planyourvisit/nr-programs.htm)

Backpacking Guide Services

A wide range of options exist for guided hiking at Grand Canyon National Park. A list of companies issued Commercial Use Authorizations by the National Park Service to conduct guided overnight backpacking and/or day hiking tours below the rim at Grand Canyon National Park can be found at www.nps.gov/grca/getinvolved/cua-list.htm.
