Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers who can facilitate meaningful connections and provide our visitors with meaningful experiences. Volunteers may assist with visitor center operations, interpretative programs and events, living history programming, educational programming, site maintenance, and administrative work.

No experience is necessary to volunteer; Fort Union Trading Post NHS provides training, uniforms, and has an extensive living history "closet" for volunteer use. Many opportunities exist for volunteering, and we strive to match individual volunteers' interests with our needs.
