Riding Map

As indicated in the map, there are three areas (red overlays) where horses are prohibited. These areas are a roughly quarter-mile area around Hornbek Homestead; a half-mile by quarter-mile area around the visitor center; and a roughly quarter-mile area around the Barksdale Picnic Area.

The green rectangle in the map, located on Lower Twin Rock Road near its junction with Route 1, is where trailer parking is permitted. It is the only area for trailer parking.

As mentioned above, the numerous trails shown in the map are not open to horseback riding.
