Chamizal National Memorial is once again issuing the free America the Beautiful – the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes. These passes cover entrance fees and standard amenity fees (day use fees) at lands managed by the National Park Service and other federal land management agencies.
Chamizal National Memorial in El Paso, Texas and Parque Chamizal in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico sign an arrangement to form a "sister park" relationship.
Beginning Thursday, June 11, Chamizal National Memorial will reopen access to the park grounds and outdoor restrooms. The administrative office building and Cultural Center remain closed.
Effective immediately, Chamizal National Memorial will be closed to all visitors until further notice in response to guidance from the El Paso County public health department.
Chamizal National Memorial is announcing modifications to operations. As of March 18, 2020, Chamizal National Memorial has closed the Cultural Center including Visitor Center Information Desk, Park Store, Museum, and Theater as well as postponed all programming and events until further notice. Where it is possible to adhere to the latest health guidance, the Memorial grounds and comfort station will remain open to the public from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
