CHEYENNE, Oklahoma: Calling teachers of all grade levels and subjects! Washita Battlefield will be hosting a FREE three-day teacher workshop July 26-28 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Come and learn about the “Wonders of Washita” and how to incorporate the park into your classroom in preparation for the 25th Anniversary of Washita’s establishment. Registration will start July 1. Applications can be picked up at the visitor center. The workshop has spaces available for 24 teachers. Spaces will be determined by grade level and subjects taught. Applications must be completed and returned by July 14. CEU hours are available.
