CHEYENNE, Oklahoma: The moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Announcing Camp Owa Chita 2021 registration. The CDC guidelines for Summer Camp will be followed. Camp Owa Chita is June 28-July 2, 2021. We invite students entering 1st through 6th grade to attend the park’s seventh annual summer day camp! The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday. Campers must be able to attend all five days.
There is no cost for your children to participate, but registration is required. Registration begins June 14, and forms can be picked up and submitted at the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site Visitor Center at 18555 Highway 47A, Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Registration forms are due no later than June 23. There is a limit of 24 children for the camp and registration is first come, first served. A waiting list will be instituted once camp is full. Parents will be notified if spots become available. To learn more about this free experience, call the visitor center at 580-497-2742.
