The Junior Ranger motto is recited by people around the country; each taking an oath of their own to protect parks, continue to learn about parks, and share their own ranger story with friends and family.

Become a Salem Maritime Junior Ranger and join the National Park Service family!

1. Download your Junior Ranger booklet.
2. Complete the Junior Ranger activities as you explore on-site or from home.
3. Get your Junior Ranger badge!

• Visit the Salem Armory Visitor Center to be sworn in by a ranger and receive your badge!
• Send your completed booklet to the visitor center for a ranger to check your work and mail you an official Junior Ranger badge!
• Download a Virtual Visit Junior Ranger badge. Right-click the image on the right, save it to your computer, and print!
