The Rock Creek Park Horse Center is located next to the Nature Center. There is plenty of parking. The center offers riding lessons, trail rides, pony rides, summer camps, therapeutic riding, and horse-boarding.

Golf events, putting greens, and lessons are just a few of the activities available at the Rock Creek Park Golf Course.

Rock Creek Park Golf Course


At the Rock Creek Park Golf Course, you will find an 18-hole course, putting greens, snacks and beverages, and a Pro Shop. The course is defined by extreme hills and narrow fairways.

Please note: The back nine holes are closed until further notice due to playing conditions.

Kayak and canoe rentals are available so you can enjoy the Potomac River!
Rock Creek Park has two boating centers. Both offer boat rentals, private boat storage, and boating instruction. Thompson Boat Center has rental equipment for rowing and holds regattas, while the Key Bridge Boathouse offers kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, fitness classes, and twilight tours.

Rock Creek Park Tennis Center offers lessons, court reservations, tournaments, tennis pros, professional racquet stringing, a pro shop, and a snack bar!
The Rock Creek Park Tennis Center includes the William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Stadium and adjacent courts. The facility, home of the Citi Open, hosts 15 hard courts and 10 clay courts. A variety of services are available to the public: lessons, court reservations, tournaments, tennis pros, professional racquet stringing, a pro shop, and a snack bar!
