An entrance pass is not required to access River Raisin National Battlefield Park.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

 
The Park Visitor Center includes a diorama of the River Raisin settlement, orientation maps, ranger programs, basic park orientation, and gift shop. There is also NO charge to view our New Park film "The Untold Legacy of the River Raisin" in our brand new state of the art theater!

Visitors are reminded to keep to the clearly marked trails and that no prospecting for artifacts is permitted in the Park.
Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures!

Every Kid in a Park Pass: A free pass for fourth graders. Fourth graders can earn the pass by completing a fun, educational activity at everykidinapark.gov and printing a paper voucher.
