Overview

The Transportation Awards Program was established to recognize exemplary performance in the Federal Lands Transportation Program (FLTP). This program is administered jointly between the National Park Service (NPS) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Employees in the NPS, FHWA, and partner organizations are eligible for the award.

There are currently three awards available:

• Individual:
  • Transportation Outstanding Performer (TOP) Award – Leadership category
• Team:
  • Partners in Excellence (PIE) Award – Construction category
  • Innovation and Development Award (IDEA) – Other than construction category

Multi-disciplinary teams provide solutions for transportation needs across America every year. Highlighting people and outstanding performance promotes a sense of partnership and employee value.
