Hawk Creek Lane Restriction at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area
Due to undercutting action of Hawk Creek on the access road between the Hawk Creek campground and boat launch, the road will be reduced to one lane until further notice. Use caution while on this road. More

From Spokane
Take I-90 West.
At Exit 277, merge onto US-2 toward Davenport/Fairchild AFB/Spokane Airport.
Just past Wilbur, turn right onto WA-21.
Stay left onto Highway 174.
Turn right onto WA-155.
Stay on WA-155 past Grand Coulee Dam and into the town of Coulee Dam.
Cross the Columbia River and continue on WA-155.
Turn right onto Crest Drive and follow up the hill.
The Headquarters Office is located on the left.
The park is open 24 hours per day, unless otherwise designated. Day use areas are open from dawn until dusk. Administrative buildings are closed to public.
Lake Roosevelt is generally a cool or cold place from fall through spring with overcast skies. In the summer, the skies clear and present warm to hot days. More information on weather can be found under Alerts and Conditions.

This site is fee-free year-round. No entrance fee or pass is required.
Located in the former guardhouse of historic Fort Spokane, the visitor center and museum are open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day of each year. This facility has no entrance fee.
During the summer of 2024, the Fort Spokane Visitor Center and Museum will be open Thursday through Monday, 9:30 am to 5pm. These hours begin May 23 and end September 2.

For campground specific cell phone coverage, please check on recreation.gov on that specific campground page. Internet service can be found in several of our gateway communities. There is no internet service provided by the National Park Service.
