South Woolum Road Closed, Alternate Route Available
In the interest of safety, the South Woolum Road has been closed. The Woolum launch and campground remain open. moreLower Tyler Bend River Access Closed for Renovation Project
Beginning Monday, August 12th, the Lower Tyler Bend River Access will be closed to facilitate the renovation process. The Upper Access will remain open. The Tyler Bend Campground will also remain open.Cave Mountain Road Temporary Closure
Newton County Road 5, also known as Cave Mountain Road, will be closed Mondays - Thursdays from 8am - 4pm for road improvements. The road will be open Fridays - Sundays to all traffic.Buffalo Point Ranger Station Closure

Spring Creek Landing Closed to Vehicle-Assisted Launches
The Spring Creek Landing has been closed to vehicle-assisted launches. Watercraft may still be put in and take out at this point, but must be hand carried to and from the parking area. This is to ensure the safety of visitors and avoid continued erosion.Steel Creek Ranger Station Phones Offline
Phones are currently down at Steel Creek Ranger Station due to widespread flooding. For park information, please call Tyler Bend Visitor Center at 870-439-2502.
