An entrance pass is not required to access Amistad National Recreation Area.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

 

A Word of Explanation

While many day use visitors don't pay anything to enjoy the park, the following is a brief overview of the most common expanded amenity fees at Amistad National Recreation Area. Please click on the links provided for specific information related to these fees.

Camping

Designated campground sites are first-come, first-served. We do not take reservations for these standard sites. Fees are specific to each campground and are listed on each campground's page. To learn more about camping at Amistad National Recreation Area, please visit the park's Camping page.

 

Hunting

Hunting at Amistad National Recreation Area usually runs from the first day of dove season through the last day of quail season. To hunt one or more of Amistad's 5 designated areas, you will need a hunting permit each hunt year in addition to your state license and documentation.
