Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park is made of four units. Three units are located in Skagway, Alaska, and the fourth is in Seattle, Washington.

In Alaska you can explore:
  • Skagway Historic District- most visitor services are in located here including the visitor center, several museums, and administrative offices
  • Dyea and Chilkoot Trail Unit- explore the former townsite of Dyea or hike the Chilkoot Trail. Limited visitor services. No public transportation or transportation provided by the National Park Service
  • White Pass Unit- the least accessible unit, most people only see this part of the park from the highway or White Pass & Yukon Route railroad. No visitor services or infrastructure are provided by the park
