The Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site is excited to announce plans for its upcoming birthday celebration of Maggie L. Walker in partnership with the Black History Museum, and the City of Richmond.

National Park Service law enforcement rangers and New Hampshire State Police seek tips regarding recent vandalism at Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park. Investigators are looking for additional information from anyone who may have observed activity leading to the vandalism. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 1-888-653-0009. Tumacácori National Historical Park is now accepting submissions to the 2019 Art in the Park online exhibit.

National park and world-renown medical center partner to solve a 100-year-old art mystery.

Sculptor and illustrator Joseph Paxton will begin a month-long residency at Gettysburg National Military Park on August 18. A native of Wales, Paxton has exhibited his works, many of them animal sculptures, all over the world and he’s been featured in Vantage Magazine, Unfolded Magazine, the Resident Magazine, and the Newcastle Metro.

Sculptural Visions celebrates the many forms of sculpture. Talk with artists demonstrating different sculptural techniques including, bronze casting demonstrations, modeling with clay, carving wood and stone, welding, assemblage, and cast paper. Children can participate in hands-on sculpture activities.

On Saturday, February 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tumacácori will celebrate artistic expression of all kinds with a day of activities for families, neighbors, and visitors from across the world.
