At the request and cooperation with the United States Secret Service and the event organizer, there will not be Inauguration Day events at these D.C. area parks in 2021 and the National Mall will be closed to all visitation at least January 15 through January 21, 2021. Additional details may be found in this press release.

Traditional Inauguration Day events that happen on or near park land in D.C. have been reimagined into virtual experiences instead of people attending in person.
