An Ambassador is selected by the host park of the annual NPS/National Geographic Society BioBlitzes and then becomes an official “Volunteers-in-Parks.” The Biodiversity Youth Ambassador program is coordinated by the National Park Service, with support from each Ambassador’s host park, family, and educational mentors.
